Guided Tour at historic city center
The guided tour through the historic city center is a varied ramble through the city of the Westphalia freedom. It’s a diverting dillydally with your guide through the historic city center. You’ll experience with city hall, Lambertichurch, Saint Paulus Dom and baroque hood a big piece of Munster.

Daily guided tour from 11 am through 1 pm.
Meeting point: In the Bürgerhalle at city hall on Prinzipalmarkt

Dillydally at night
Everywhere, history was written, little stories last at the edge of the biggest world affairs. On this hilarious dillydally, you’ll hear from a regulation how to drain a chamber pot, the sheltered sleep of the citizens – except Tuesdays – or the call “Be aware of Munster” and why you should not hew to it in this days.

Farmers market
The citizens of Munster knew it all the time, but now its official! This farmers market is one of the most beautiful in Europe. Munster belongs to the winners of the competition “Most beautiful farmers market in Europe”, which was contracted out by the “Lively city” foundation. Saturdays on the Domplatz from 7 am through 2.30 pm

Sight-Seeing-Tour
Daily, while season goes. You’ll find two different providers. Münsteraner Stadtrundfahrten will start at Domplatz and the Münsterbus offers a sight-seeing-tour with hop-on-hop-off.

The Aasee
offers an open-air museum, a zoo with horse-museum, natural history museum with planetarium, restaurants, paddle boat rental and waterbus Professor Landois.

Seeking Annette von Droste Hülshoffs marks
Visit the castle Hülshoff, where Annette von Droste-Hülshoff was born and which is one of the most romantic water castles in Westphalia. Many years the poetess lived in the house Rüschenhaus in Munster-Nienberge and wrote her most popular acts “Die Judenbuche” and “Der Knabe im Moor” there.
